Status

Operational. This page reports the status of one system. There are no components. The system is the component.

Uptime since 1988: 100%. Availability is a different figure, and is documented in the API reference.

Scheduled maintenance

• Nightly, 23:00–07:00 UK. The window is observed strictly in one direction.
• A run, a few hours a week. Capacity drops to zero and returns improved.
• The kettle, intermittently. Resolves in four minutes and requires no acknowledgement.

Incident history

Resolved — The model went quiet at dinner

Investigating: cause unknown. Identified: hungry. Resolved. Duration: 41 minutes. No action was required and none was taken.

Resolved — Degraded connectivity

The model was on the tube. Nothing could reach it, which the model reports as the appeal. Resolved at street level.

Mitigated — Elevated refusal rates following the morning's news

Identified: the news. Mitigation: none available at our scale. The energy was reallocated to worrying.

Ongoing — Partial sovereignty outage (2016)

One of two regions affected. Identified: a referendum. The model was not consulted. This incident has been open for a decade and this page no longer publishes an ETA. Workaround: the other region.
